2D Physics
Version 0.7 - Preliminary contact forces
Two-dimensional physics simulator for specialised shapes. This system handles collision response and tangential friction (crudely). It copes with simultaneous collisions in arbitrary time steps. At this stage it does not model contact forces.
This simulation is incomplete and therefore may slow or crash! If so, reload the page and pray for a new version to be compiled.
Incidentally, if anybody knows how to solve the linear programming (pivot-step) matrix equation for the contact forces involved then please get in touch (unfortunately I've lost my electronic copy of D Baraff's paper Fast contact force computation for nonpenetrating rigid bodies)
